One of the biggest milestones my project hit in 2025 is Tunecore blocking my release Baby I Will Kill You because of too explicit and antisocial lyrics. It made it clear to me that my music, my story, is destined to be underground. Of course, violence is violence, hardly anyone likes it, but my goal is to show people the real face of darkness. If I use metaphors and allegories, the effect will be hardly noticeable.
Why show the darkness? Because for decades I've been seeing this trend in books, movies, and on the internet - romanticizing darkness, making evil look beautiful and desirable. Vampires, werewolves, witches. They have a lot of fans all over the world. People think it's cool to be like them, to be one of them. To torture humans and take their lives. But is it really that cool and desirable? When your limbs are torn apart, your arteries and veins are cut. I mean not on the screen or in book, but in real life. When it's happening to you, or your child, your brother, friend. Is it really that cool?
Baby I Will Kill You accurately describes the mindset of a serial killer. His attitude towards victims, and his enjoyment of the suffering he inflicts. In that regard, it's pretty similar to The Dark of Mine from my first album, but Baby I Will Kill You goes even further in exposing the darkness. It depicts not only the murder of a young girl, but also the act of cannibalism, the eating of her flesh for dinner. Humiliation of an innocent human being, bestial use of her flesh and blood just for pleasure — this is the heart of darkness. This is included in the price of eternal youth, which many fans of darkness are so crazy about.
This world is balanced perfectly. You just can't get something as valuable as eternal youth for a fraction of the price. It's not as cool and romantic as it's shown in gothic novels and movies. It doesn't work like this. The dark path of achieving eternal youth has nothing to do with romantics. This is the idea I want to convey in Baby I Will Kill You.
Metamorphosis in the soul and mind of a 17-year-old girl who had recently been a victim of gang rape, been devirginated and attempted to drown herself. A girl who didn't want to hurt her rapist, didn't want to take revenge on the person who ruined her life. And now she's gutting an innocent teen, drinking her blood, eating her flesh, and enjoying it. This is what darkness does to humans. Turning them into ruthless monsters, into unhumans. And there's no way you can escape it. Unless you're in a movie or book. Mercy is just a beautiful fairy tale.
